Peek

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) products have high impact resistance, creep rigidity, hardness even at high temperatures, excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance, excellent resistance to wear and friction (especially for PEEK - HPV and CA 30), very good dimensional stability, low intrinsic stability and very low emission of fumes during combustion, good electrical insulation and dielectric properties (except PEEK - HPV and CA 30), excellent resistance to high energy radiation (gamma rays and X-rays). Maximum operating temperature in air (250°C in continuous operation up to 310°C for short periods).

Application: The raw material used for the production of natural PEEK semi-finished products in compliance with the European Union directives and American FDA standards for plastic materials used in contact with food products. These characteristics added to the excellent possibility to sterilize with steam, dry heat, acetylene oxide and gamma rays make PEEK products ideal for applications in the medical pharmaceutical and food industries. Details that call for excellent mechanical and temperature resistance.

Temp. Max 250°C in continuous operation, minimum 60°C
