PTFE

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a very high molecular weight polymer, made up of fluorine and carbon atoms.

The main features of PTFE are: high thermal resistance, excellent resistance to chemical and solvent agents, excellent anti-adhesiveness, low coefficient of friction and non-toxicity.

The-ma offers a wide range of PTFE products available in round shapes, hollow tubes or sleeves depending on

the requested dimensions, slabs, adhesive or cemented foils arranged to be glued and depending on drawing details.

PTFE products are particularly applicable in mechanical, chemical, electrical, packaging, nautical and food industries.

The products can be used in a temperature range between - 200 °C and + 260 °C.
